The team’s research projects range from the analysis of fundamental aspects from intracellular signaling in immune cells to functional aspects of immune responses to tumors in animal models, while associating clinical aspects related to immunomonitoring in cancer patients.
In particular, we analyze the immune system escape mechanisms associated with cancers, enabling us to propose new biomarkers and innovative therapeutic strategies aimed at restoring immune responses.
