The team Osteo-immunology, niches and inflammation is one of the 2 teams of the LP2M. Its main interest is the study of osteoimmune interactions involved in the control of bone remodeling, hematopoiesis and inflammation in the bone marrow to determine their contribution to bone and immune homeostasis. These points are analyzed, with special focus on osteoclasts and T CD4+ cells, in healthy and inflammatory conditions associated to bone destruction, mainly inflammatory bowel disease and osteoporosis
