The focus of the lab is on mechanisms of innate immunity and underlying molecular mechanisms. The efforts are largely based on a pipeline of molecules discovered by the lab. Macrophages and their interplay with other components of cellular and humoral innate immunity are a major topic of effort, with emphasis on cancer.
