A major focus of the Laboratory Food, Environment and Health is the study of the immunogenicity of native antigens of Toxoplasma gondii and plant extracts as well as their protective effect in murine congenital toxoplasmosis. In fact, sever antigens are administered by many routes and the challenge tests are carried out with T. gondii strains.
