We are working on developing Cell analysis using flow cytometry. The lab is highly involved in teaching of cell analysis, co-organizing courses in different countries including north and central Africa. T cell analysis, deep phenotyping, functional tests, investigate the Immune repertoire, protection scope and defects which are possibly related to hypersensitivity and dysimmunity (hygiene hypothesis). To what extent the environment and microbiote contribute and effect the immune system, and possible repertoire deficiencies, would explain some risks for specific infections and some over-expression of  specific clones remaining thanks to the empty space in the repertoire. The lab also works on basophils in cases of allergy and urticaria.

Being very involved in education across the world, the lab would be happy to contribute in the FAIS Legacy Project for young scientists to receive a high standard training in immunological basis, techniques and methodology.
