The Benefits of Sponsoring

FAIS, welcomes Sponsors to support the training of African students in immunology and allied sciences.  Sponsors may choose to support one or multiple students, in specific-regions or countries and in specific disciplines.  Placements in Industry are particularly welcome, as are sponsors from Industry. The program will run for at least ten years.

  • Contribute to capacity building in Africa

  • Ability to focus on specific subject-areas

  • Ability to focus on trainees from specific African countries

  • Encourage Industry partnerships

  • Encourage innovations in immunology in Africa

  • Encourage innovations in biotechnology for Africa

The core costs of each PhD studentship is $50,000
